Your Donation at Work
Your contribution ensures that the children and adolescents in our schools have access to daily nutritious meals, encompassing breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Moreover, it provides vital support, including the provision of weekend bags, with an average distribution of 480 bags per week.
The annual participation fee for our program is $700.00 per child in the Cowichan Valley School District and $1000.00 per child in the Pacific Rim School District. Every donation from our community makes a significant impact, playing a crucial role in supporting our mission of nourishing the lives of children in our community.

Nourish Cowichan’s School Food Program nourishes over 2300 children and adolescents across 23 schools in the Cowichan Valley School District.
With a dedicated team of 3 full-time staff and 1 part-time member, alongside the invaluable support of 70 volunteers, we are committed to making a difference.
Our volunteers generously contribute their time in the kitchen, deliveries to schools, and tend to our flourishing food garden, ensuring that every child receives the nourishment they need to thrive.
